Applecart is a B2B SaaS platform that helps C-suite executives and business leaders reach and influence critical decision makers through data-driven relationship mapping and content delivery. The company serves Fortune 500 companies, major agencies, nonprofits, and government organizations.
As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be a key technical contributor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable software across the full stack—backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and front-end applications. You'll work in a hybrid-remote environment with a talented engineering team to develop well-architected systems that drive measurable business impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop well-tested, scalable backend services, APIs, and front-end applications
- Collaborate with engineers through pair programming to ensure high code quality and sound system design
- Mentor junior developers, sharing best practices in coding, architecture, and debugging
- Partner with Product and UX teams to refine requirements and enhance user experiences
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions that shape platform evolution
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve development practices
You bring 7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong backend skills across multiple programming languages. You have hands-on experience building and deploying cloud applications (preferably AWS), infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices. You demonstrate technical leadership through example in design, refactoring, testing, and troubleshooting. You have experience designing complex systems like service-oriented architectures and strong fundamentals in agile, clean code, test-driven development, and CI/CD.
Preferred skills include Python as a primary backend language, React for front-end development, familiarity with data engineering tools like Apache Spark, and experience provisioning cloud resources via infrastructure-as-code.
This is a hybrid role: work from home Monday and Friday, in the NYC office Tuesday–Thursday. Relocation assistance is not available; candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the New York area independently.
