The Quant team owns the core product experience, transforming complex, data-rich information into secure, next-generation interfaces for government and government-affiliated operators. As a Senior Full Stack Frontend Engineer, you will design and build the user-facing systems and integrations that power these capabilities. You'll own the frontend experience layer, converting complex operator requirements into secure, reliable, and data-rich user interfaces. This is a hands-on role where you'll build and operate systems in close partnership with product designers and other engineering teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing secure, data-rich user interfaces using modern frontend technologies
- Building backend APIs and integrating them with frontend systems
- Delivering complex product features end-to-end, from design through testing and release
- Collaborating with product designers and engineers to translate requirements into reliable products
- Implementing critical user journeys and ensuring quality through automated testing
- Working with real-time interfaces and visualization libraries for operator-focused applications
Required experience:
- Strong production experience with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development
- Backend API development with Node.js, Express, or comparable frameworks
- Relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Delivering complex, data-rich product features
- Authentication, authorization, browser security, and safe content rendering
- Automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Ability to independently deliver frontend work while collaborating on backend integration
- Strong product judgment and effective collaboration with designers and engineers
Preferred qualifications include experience with Next.js App Router, Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query, Zustand, visualization libraries (Mapbox GL, deck.gl, Cytoscape, AntV G6), real-time interfaces (SSE, WebSockets), testing frameworks (Playwright, Vitest, Testing Library), observability tools (Sentry), and building AI-enabled products or analyst/operator interfaces.
The role is based at headquarters in Massachusetts with flexibility for remote arrangements in California, Massachusetts, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, and across the US. The company also hires at locations in Dubai, Bosnia, Croatia, and Serbia, with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance available for international positions. Compensation is highly competitive and benchmarked to market, with equity through an employee stock ownership plan, sign-on bonus, and other incentives. The company emphasizes in-person collaboration with most teams offering one or two remote days per week.
