Intercom (operating as Fin.ai) is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join Team Web. The role focuses on building and maintaining the company's website—a critical asset for brand presence, product marketing, and lead generation.
You will design and develop end-to-end web solutions spanning modern UIs, backend services, APIs, and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include collaborating with design, brand, marketing, and content teams to deliver seamless, performant experiences; developing backend logic and APIs with robust data flows; optimizing website performance through best practices like lazy loading and efficient asset management; and setting up/managing infrastructure using Vercel, AWS, CloudFront, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI). You'll also implement web analytics, support A/B testing for data-driven decisions, and stay current with emerging technologies.
The role requires full-stack capability—you should be comfortable writing backend software and unblocking yourself end-to-end. The company invests heavily in AI-powered developer tools to reduce friction and let you focus on meaningful problems.
Required qualifications: 8+ years of full stack development experience with expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Expert-level proficiency in React, Next.js, and Tailwind. Experience with CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity) and marketing tools (Google Tag Manager, Marketo). Familiarity with CI/CD tools (CircleCI), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and AWS services. Knowledge of A/B testing, analytics tools, performance optimization, and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
