You will join as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (frontend-leaning) to design, build, and maintain scalable frontend applications using Vue 3, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript tooling. You'll own complex features end-to-end—from technical design through production release, including UI, APIs, and Python backend services. This role is ideal for a frontend-heavy engineer who wants to own features all the way down to the service layer.
Key responsibilities include: designing and building scalable frontend applications; owning complex features from technical design through production; building and maintaining backend services and APIs in Python; creating reusable components and patterns to improve developer velocity; improving application performance, accessibility, and reliability; collaborating with product and design teams; writing high-quality tests across the stack using Vitest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright, and pytest; participating in code reviews and mentoring engineers; contributing to CI/CD improvements and observability; maintaining security and privacy standards; and leveraging AI-powered development tools like Claude for design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
You bring 5+ years of experience building production web applications with rich, complex user experiences. You have deep experience with Vue.js (preferably Vue 3 and Composition API), strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and professional experience building backend services and APIs in Python. You understand state management patterns (Pinia, Vuex), component architecture, design systems, and can integrate applications with REST, GraphQL, or event-driven APIs. You have strong testing experience (unit, integration, end-to-end), understand frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals, and are familiar with accessibility standards like WCAG. You have hands-on experience using AI coding assistants as part of your regular workflow and have worked in agile environments with cross-functional teams. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus, as is interest in the cannabis industry.
