Zeel is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and scale the next generation of its provider experience and healthcare products. The company connects members and veterans with licensed therapists who deliver medical massage and related therapies in homes and offices, addressing the critical gap in accessible, non-pharmacological care for chronic pain management.
In this role, you'll join a small, senior engineering team reimagining the Zeel provider experience—the app and tools licensed therapists rely on to run their practice. You'll work on greenfield projects with real daily users, helping rethink how providers experience Zeel end-to-end based on years of learning about their actual needs. The provider experience is your starting point, but you'll also take new 0→1 products and services from concept to production as Zeel expands what care it can deliver.
Key responsibilities include: shaping the next generation of the provider experience from architecture through implementation; taking new products from concept to launch; working full-stack across mobile and web frontends and backend APIs; building quality through observability, automated testing, and CI/CD; partnering directly with product, design, operations, and the providers using your work; and setting the technical standard through code reviews and architectural decisions.
You'll need 5+ years of experience as a senior full-stack engineer with expertise in React Native and TypeScript. You should demonstrate high craft—caring about both user-facing details (performance, reliability, polish) and technical details (clean abstractions, observability). A proven track record of 0→1 work, an owner's mindset, and strong product judgment are essential. You should be genuinely motivated by the mission of expanding access to medical massage and therapy for members and veterans.
Nice-to-have qualifications include healthcare experience (clinical workflows, FHIR/HL7, HIPAA-regulated systems), experience building for field or gig workforces, marketplace or scheduling-heavy products, backend depth, and experience standing up observability stacks and mobile CI/CD.
Zeel's current stack includes React Native and TypeScript on mobile, React on the web, and a modern backend and data platform. You'll have a real voice in choosing the right architecture for new initiatives.
