Salary: USD 150,000 - 170,000 / annual

The company has built a suite of digital privacy products used by 6,000+ organizations and an open platform centered on the Trusted Data Format (TDF) standard.
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own complex problems end-to-end across Virtru's digital privacy product suite. You'll write production-quality JavaScript (React) on the frontend and develop backend services in Go (Golang), building performant and scalable components that power the core data protection platform. You'll deploy and operate a highly available Enterprise SaaS application on AWS in a DevOps environment, taking full ownership of the application lifecycle from code and automated testing (unit, integration, Selenium, canaries) through deployment and production operations, including on-call rotations via PagerDuty.
Key responsibilities include demonstrating strong knowledge of software design patterns and applying them to solve complex engineering problems; collaborating across a fast-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously; partnering with the product team to identify issues, investigate root causes, and propose solutions; fostering a team environment through mentorship and constructive feedback; actively seeking mentoring opportunities to build team redundancy; proactively communicating with multiple stakeholders including non-technical audiences; and delivering medium-to-large tasks spanning multiple systems with clear planning, estimation, and risk management.
You will ensure tasks are properly sized and prioritized, manage realistic commitments, and push back on work that lacks clear value to the engineering team. This is a critical role where your impact directly protects people's data and advances a future where privacy is the default.
