You will join the Tallinn engineering team as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, taking end-to-end ownership of features across a modern React/TypeScript frontend and Java/Spring backend. This is a high-autonomy role where you'll shape architectural evolution as the company scales and have a real voice in technical product direction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and owning complex features across the full stack (React components to Java services)
- Reasoning about service boundaries and driving architectural improvements
- Incorporating performance monitoring and optimization as a core part of development
- Using AI tools (Claude Code) as part of your workflow
- Helping the team stay ahead of industry trends that shape product direction
Required experience:
- Proven track record shipping complex production features with real ownership of outcomes
- Strong React and TypeScript skills with state management (Redux)
- Strong Java skills, ideally Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
- REST/OpenAPI API design and relational database experience
- AWS fundamentals (S3, SQS) and Docker containerization
- Synchronous and asynchronous service communication patterns
Nice-to-have skills include Kubernetes/Helm, deeper AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS), Kotlin, i18n/multi-locale experience, and legacy modernization leadership.
