Blaze is building an agentic marketing platform that combines AI with human creativity to help small teams create high-quality marketing content at a fraction of agency costs. The platform enables customers to spin up new channels quickly, create content, and publish across ads, video, social, blog, and email from a single interface.
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll be responsible for building intuitive, interactive customer experiences and determining the backend architecture needed to support those features. You'll work with a team of ~17 engineers, 2 designers, and 2 product managers to scale the platform toward serving millions of customers.
Key responsibilities include: writing elegant, well-tested code in a modern tech stack (Rails 6.1, Postgres, React, Typescript); participating in standups, code reviews, and retros; collaborating on architecture and design decisions; ensuring production stability and safety; and establishing development standards.
You should have 5+ years of full stack experience building products, ideally with Ruby on Rails and React. You're comfortable working across the entire stack—from expanding APIs to enhancing frontends—and can write complex SQL queries when needed. You have a consistent track record of writing clean code, comprehensive test suites in TDD environments, and experience working with LLM models like GPT or Claude.
