Salary: USD 170,000 - 210,000 / annual

In this Senior Full Stack Engineer role, you will play a critical role in designing, architecting, and implementing scalable, robust software solutions across the full stack. You'll prototype and develop web applications with complex interaction patterns, flexible components, and efficient backend systems using Python, TypeScript/React, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake. You'll own API and backend development, building and maintaining server-side applications, database management systems, and CI/CD pipelines that power the platform.
You'll partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Sales to deliver features that solve meaningful customer problems. As a senior engineer, you'll provide technical leadership on projects, guide technical direction, act as a systems design expert for complex initiatives, and mentor junior engineers to raise the technical bar across the team. You'll ensure high standards of code quality through testing, reviews, and modern software engineering best practices.
The role emphasizes moving quickly and shipping while being thoughtful about long-term architecture and maintainability. You'll be comfortable with ambiguity, able to fill in gaps when roadmaps aren't clear, and skilled at prototyping and testing ideas before investing in larger builds.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience
- Strong experience in Python, TypeScript/React, and PostgreSQL
- Deep understanding of Python and modern web frameworks like FastAPI
- Experience building and scaling client-facing applications
- Strong systems design skills with understanding of architectural paradigms and tradeoffs
- Frontend development experience including React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and web components
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of ORMs and their tradeoffs
- Strong product sense; ability to think about users, prioritize MVPs, and help determine what to build next
- Ability to move quickly while maintaining thoughtful long-term architecture
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with analytics tools or health tech is a plus
- Familiarity with AWS offerings (EC2, S3, RDS) is a plus
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog is a plus
