As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll design and build integrations that connect CoLab's platform with the CAD, PLM, and enterprise systems that engineering organizations rely on daily. You'll solve technically challenging integration problems spanning multiple systems—one week improving CAD integrations, the next investigating complex workflows across PLM, ERP, and engineering data platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding complex customer requirements and translating them into scalable solutions
- Collaborating with Product, Design, Customer Success, and engineering teams to plan and execute work
- Developing, testing, and shipping user-facing features and robust APIs regularly
- Writing automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) and participating in code reviews
- Mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical direction
- Championing user experience with focus on clarity and performance
You'll need 8+ years of hands-on development experience, proficiency in Java and/or C#, and strong full-stack capabilities including JavaScript/TypeScript, relational and NoSQL databases, and modern testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright). Experience with SaaS, distributed systems, CI/CD workflows, and Git-based collaboration is essential. The role is fully remote within Canada, based from St. John's, NL headquarters, with stock options and benefits including unlimited vacation and RRSP matching.
