Time To Hire is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join their Integrations team. You will design, build, and maintain the frontend experience that connects the company with its payments ecosystem, working closely with backend teams to understand integration flows.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing robust, scalable, high-quality frontend solutions using React, Angular, or other modern frameworks. You'll integrate frontend with APIs and backend services (payment processors, banks, third parties), understanding end-to-end data flows to debug effectively and collaborate with backend teams. You'll identify and resolve performance issues, technical debt, and recurring errors in checkout and frontend flows, while maintaining the product through bug fixes and issue resolution.
You'll participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and collaborate with product, platform, and backend teams to understand API contracts, data flows, and integration strategies. Clear communication of technical ideas to both business and technical stakeholders is essential.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with React, Angular, or similar frameworks. You need conceptual knowledge of backend systems (Node.js, Go, Ruby, Python, PHP, Java) sufficient to understand, debug, and collaborate—not necessarily to develop in them. You must understand how to consume APIs (REST, gRPC, webhooks) from the frontend and read/understand service contracts for correct integration. Understanding how backend concurrency and latency impact frontend experience (loading states, error handling, timeouts) is critical. You should work autonomously on tickets, bugs, and issues without constant supervision, and be familiar with CI/CD, version control, and deployment environments.
Desirable qualifications include payments or fintech industry experience, knowledge of frontend security best practices for payment flows (tokenization, secure sensitive data handling) in PCI-DSS contexts, and experience with AI tools including LLM automation, autonomous agents, and agentic workflows.
