As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Ostro team, you will own key UI decisions that directly impact how clinicians access critical healthcare information. You'll design responsive, intuitive user interfaces across Ostro's product suite using modern frontend frameworks, ensuring seamless experiences that accelerate clinical decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless features and enhance existing UX
- Maintain high code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and robust frontend standards
- Optimize application performance for speed, responsiveness, and scalability as user adoption grows
- Drive accessibility compliance by testing, troubleshooting, and advocating for inclusive design
- Stay current with emerging web technologies to continuously improve the frontend stack
You bring 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering production B2B or B2C SaaS applications, with deep expertise in modern frontend development. You have 5+ years of hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. You communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly across functional teams.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with Material-UI, MobX, React Query, and Zustand.
