WegoPro is a business travel platform that helps organizations manage corporate travel through an integrated system combining booking, approvals, policy, payments, and reporting. As part of the Wego Group, the company leverages AI-first product development to modernize how businesses handle travel.
In this Senior Frontend Engineer role, you will own the architecture and evolution of the WegoPro frontend platform, including the design system, application state management, routing, build tooling, and performance optimization. You'll work on a sophisticated, data-rich product used daily by travel managers, finance teams, and business travelers globally.
Key responsibilities include: architecting scalable frontend systems on top of a microservices architecture; designing resilient API integrations, caching strategies, and graceful fallbacks; developing AI-powered product experiences such as conversational booking, agentic workflows, and streaming interfaces; driving adoption of AI-assisted software development tools across the engineering team; leading technical design discussions and mentoring engineers; and ensuring software quality through automated testing, observability, CI/CD, and operational excellence on AWS.
You should have significant experience building modern web applications with deep expertise in Vue 3 (Composition API, Pinia, Nuxt), strong TypeScript skills, and proficiency with modern frontend tooling (Vite, code splitting, performance optimization, Core Web Vitals). Daily experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) is required, along with familiarity with modern AI application development patterns including MCP, agent frameworks, and context engineering. Practical AWS experience (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS, CI/CD, feature flagging) is essential. You should demonstrate excellent frontend fundamentals, a passion for polished and accessible UI, strong communication skills, and a bias toward ownership and continuous improvement.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience in business travel, fintech, or B2B SaaS; micro-frontend architectures; design system development; and open-source contributions in Vue or AI tooling.
