ClickUp is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and improve core product experiences in their AI-native workspace platform. You'll work across Angular and React to architect efficient, reusable frontend code that powers the ClickUp user experience, collaborating closely with product, design, backend, and integrations teams to deliver high-impact features in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities include building product features in partnership with cross-functional teams, architecting scalable frontend solutions, resolving performance and usability issues, and maintaining strong test coverage through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. You'll own project priorities and deadlines while following established frontend architecture and state management patterns. The role emphasizes moving quickly without sacrificing code quality, taking ownership of complex product challenges, and mentoring teammates to raise overall engineering quality.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of JavaScript and modern frontend framework experience (Angular or React required), strong TypeScript and state management expertise (RxJS, NgRx, or Redux-style patterns), solid HTML/CSS fundamentals including accessibility and cross-browser compatibility, proven ability to execute with urgency and ownership, and experience mentoring engineers. You should have strong communication skills and demonstrated expertise with testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, or Playwright.
