ClickUp is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and improve core product experiences in their AI-native workspace platform that unifies tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search. You'll work closely with product, design, backend, and integrations teams to deliver high-impact features in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities include building product features in Angular and React, architecting efficient and reusable frontend code, collaborating with backend and integrations teams on end-to-end features, and working with QA to ensure strong test coverage. You'll identify and resolve performance, scalability, and usability issues, build and maintain unit and integration tests, and fix bugs quickly with durable solutions to complex product challenges. You'll follow established frontend architecture and state management patterns and manage project priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks experience (Angular or React required), strong TypeScript, RxJS, and Redux-style state management (NgRx or similar), solid understanding of reusable component architecture and frontend performance, strong HTML/CSS fundamentals including layout, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and maintainable styling. You should demonstrate proven ability to move quickly, take ownership, and execute with urgency, along with strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience mentoring teammates and raising engineering quality is expected, as is strong experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using jest, vitest, playwright, or related frameworks.
