Salary: USD 228,000 - 279,200 / annual
EarnIn is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join their Early Bets initiatives team. In this role, you will partner with Product and Design teams to define, build, and evolve user experiences using modern frontend technologies. You'll own and evolve the frontend architecture to ensure scalability, performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. Key responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of complex frontend systems using React, TypeScript, and Next.js (including SSR, routing, data fetching, and performance optimization); establishing and upholding frontend engineering standards; driving cross-team technical initiatives; identifying technical risks and opportunities; mentoring and guiding frontend engineers; designing robust testing strategies; and defining/monitoring frontend metrics to inform product decisions.
You should have a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related technical field, with 4+ years of industry experience and significant depth in frontend or web platform development. Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js is required. Strong experience with frontend architecture (state management, component design, design systems, micro-frontends, performance optimization), production web applications, and software engineering best practices across the SDLC is essential. Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
