Salary: USD 170,000 - 190,000 / annual
Beacon Biosignals is transforming precision medicine for the brain through at-home EEG platforms and diagnostics. The company serves two markets: clinical development of novel therapeutics for neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders, and precision diagnostics combining EEG and cardiopulmonary signals for reimbursable assessments.
As a Senior Front-end Engineer on the Web Apps Team, you'll develop React/TypeScript applications that power clinical study management, data analytics, and patient diagnostics. You'll own the full user experience, performance, reliability, and observability of features you build, working with product designers and cross-functional teams to create user-centric capabilities for diverse personas—from study coordinators to physicians to internal operations teams.
In your first 3–6 months, you might build visualization tools for clinical trial insights, develop physician workflows for AI-generated diagnostic reports, enable study sites to manage participant enrollment, or deploy compliance tracking features for the Clinical Operations team.
You bring 8+ years of front-end web development experience with React and TypeScript, including expertise in data-rich applications with interactive visualization and large-scale data manipulation. You're proficient with GraphQL-based APIs, skilled at identifying and fixing performance bottlenecks, and comfortable in collaborative, asynchronous environments. A product mindset—caring deeply about UX, edge cases, and performance—is essential.
Bonus experience includes work on clinical trial applications, regulated environments, EEG or digital signal processing, back-end systems, or open-source React/TypeScript projects.
