Salary: USD 230,000 - 280,000 / annual
Tines is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join the founding member of its forward deployed team. You will be embedded directly with strategic enterprise customers to drive transformational AI adoption and ensure maximum platform value realization.
In this role, you will own the full customer success arc: from deepening adoption and enabling stakeholders to discovering new opportunities where the Tines platform creates measurable business impact. You'll operate autonomously within complex enterprise environments, serving as the trusted technical advisor and primary point of contact for customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end technical implementation of the Tines platform within complex enterprise environments, including system integration and workflow configuration
- Driving adoption across customer organizations at all levels, from hands-on technical teams to business leadership through training and enablement
- Identifying and developing new use cases by leveraging deep familiarity with customer business needs to expand platform adoption
- Serving as the primary technical point of contact, troubleshooting issues, delivering workshops, and resolving blockers
- Building lasting partnerships across all organizational levels with focus on long-term retention and growth
- Feeding field insights back to internal teams (Engineering, Product, GTM) to inform product development
- Traveling 20-40% to customer sites to build trust and deepen relationships
You bring 8+ years of experience in technical, customer-facing roles such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Customer Success Engineer, or similar positions. You have a proven track record of driving adoption and delivering measurable value from complex technical products in enterprise environments. Strong engineering skills are essential, including Python proficiency (plus ideally TypeScript or Java), production experience with LLMs and AI systems, and the ability to train and influence stakeholders across all levels. You operate with high agency and resourcefulness, taking full ownership of accounts and communicating complex concepts clearly and confidently.
