Project44 is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join p44LSP.ai, a dedicated AI-native division serving the logistics service provider (LSP) market. This is a small, hand-picked team operating across Chicago, San Francisco, Bangalore, and the EU with a flat organizational structure.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will be embedded directly with high-value LSP accounts—freight forwarders, brokers, and 3PLs—owning integration architecture, customizing agent workflows, and serving as the ground truth between how LSPs actually operate and how the product team thinks they do. Your primary mission is to transform logistics from a reactive service into a programmable network by replacing manual workflows with autonomous agent-to-agent coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and deploying integrations that connect LSP systems to the p44LSP.ai platform
- Customizing AI agent workflows to match customer operational requirements
- Gathering field insights that directly shape the product roadmap
- Shipping solutions in weeks rather than quarters
- Serving as the technical bridge between customer needs and product development
- Leveraging AI coding tools and agents throughout your workflow
Project44 is a $124M business with 259K carriers in its network, billions of shipment outcomes, and agents already in production. The LSP market is moving rapidly, with AI agent startups growing 300%+ year-over-year. You'll have direct access to project44's data graph, carrier network, and enterprise relationships.
