As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will be embedded directly with high-value Logistics Service Provider (LSP) accounts, serving as a bridge between customer operations and the product team. Unlike traditional engineers who build for customers, FDEs build with them—working on-site to understand how logistics actually operates in practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning integration architecture and customizing agent workflows for LSP partners
- Serving as the ground truth between how LSPs actually operate and how the product team conceptualizes their needs
- Transforming logistics from reactive service into a programmable network by replacing manual workflows with autonomous agent-to-agent coordination
- Shipping solutions in weeks rather than quarters
- Gathering field insights that directly shape the product roadmap
You will work with cutting-edge AI and automation technologies to solve complex supply chain challenges. The role requires deep technical expertise combined with strong customer empathy and communication skills. Project44 expects all team members to actively leverage AI in their work, and you should be comfortable using AI tools with intent, curiosity, and judgment.
