Join Deliveroo's Europe Accounting team as a Senior Finance Manager, leading financial reporting and accounting operations during a period of significant integration following Deliveroo's acquisition by DoorDash. You'll be based at The River Building HQ in London and report into the global finance function. In this role, you'll drive month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring all financial reporting deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with US headquarters requirements. You'll oversee the review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy. A key part of your mandate is identifying process gaps and implementing scalable controls to strengthen financial governance and shorten close cycles across Europe. You'll partner strategically with cross-functional stakeholders in Operations and regional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve data quality. You'll also coordinate internal and external audit requests while maintaining comprehensive documentation for key accounting processes and standard operating procedures. Deliveroo is a three-sided marketplace (customers, restaurants, riders) operating at scale across multiple regions. The Finance team shapes the company's future by directing capital to high-impact investments and developing robust financial strategies. You'll work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with real autonomy and responsibility, directly improving experiences for customers, partners, and riders. REQUIREMENTS: - Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accountancy qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualified experience - Technical Depth: Significant post-qualification experience within a complex, fast-paced financial environment, ideally with a focus on group reporting - System Proficiency: Strong understanding of NetSuite (or equivalent ERP systems) and financial reporting tools - Stakeholder Influence: Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders across different regions and functions - Adaptability: Proactive mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in an evolving global business environment
