Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing remote cybersecurity company focused on enabling organizations to proactively find, fix, and verify exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them. The flagship product, NodeZero, delivers production-safe autonomous pentests and assessment operations that scale across internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. The company is built by former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers, and cybersecurity practitioners.
You will own field marketing strategy and execution for Horizon3's Northwest region. This is an ownership role where you will build the regional program architecture that connects events with digital air cover, ABM, and SDR alignment into a repeatable pipeline engine. You will serve as the marketing counterpart to the region's sales leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
**Regional Strategy and Program Architecture:** Own the annual and quarterly field marketing plan aligned to regional pipeline targets, segment priorities, and sales capacity. Build integrated programs connecting field events to digital air cover, SDR sequences, and ABM account targeting. Define and enforce cost-per-opportunity (CPO) thresholds as hard gates for program investment and build marginal ROI models. Own the regional field budget and make trade-off decisions on what to scale and cut.
**Program Execution:** Plan and execute a portfolio of high-signal programs including CISO dinners, executive roundtables, third-party conferences, hosted roadshows, and account-specific activations. Lead SDR alignment for every program including pre-event sequencing, on-site meeting coordination, and post-event follow-up SLAs. Coordinate with digital marketing and campaigns/ABM teams to surround target accounts. Own executive-tier programming including speaker coordination, venue selection, and curated invite strategy for C-level and VP-level targets. Partner with channel field marketing on partner-led programs.
**Pipeline Accountability and Reporting:** Own regional pipeline contribution reporting tied to program spend. Run 30-day post-event reviews for every program and apply learnings to future design. Partner with marketing operations to maintain clean Salesforce campaign tracking and attribution. Present regional performance to leadership with financial framing.
**Cross-Functional Leadership:** Serve as primary marketing partner to region's sales leaders, account executives, and SDR managers. Mentor Field Marketing Managers and Specialists and share repeatable playbooks across regions (no direct reports). Collaborate with brand and product marketing. Lead horizontally with peers in digital, campaigns, ABM, and marketing operations.
You will hold every program to the same standard: a pipeline hypothesis going in, a CPO threshold as the gate for spend, and a 30-day post-event review coming out. You will also mentor other field marketers and set the bar for how field marketing operates at Horizon3.
**Requirements:**
- 5 to 8 years of B2B field marketing experience, including ownership of a region or segment
- Demonstrated ability to build and run a field program portfolio with measurable pipeline outcomes, CPO discipline, and executive-level reporting
- Deep experience partnering with sales leadership and SDR management on pre- and post-program alignment, sequencing, and follow-up accountability
- Strong financial fluency: comfortable building CPO models, presenting ROI cases to leadership, and recommending investment trade-offs
- Experience running ABM-aligned field programs tied to named account lists, including executive dinners and CISO roundtables
- Proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline tracking, campaign attribution, and performance reporting
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (Pardot, HubSpot, or equivalent) for integrated campaign coordination
- Excellent written communication: executive-facing event briefs, compelling invite copy, and clear post-event performance summaries
- Track record of building repeatable field program frameworks, not one-off events
- Must be based in the Northwest US and willing to travel up to 40%
**Preferred qualifications:**
- Experience in cybersecurity field marketing with understanding of CISO and security practitioner buyers, enterprise security sales cycles, and competitive landscape
- Existing relationships with the security community, venues, and partners in the region
- Background in financial services, healthcare, or SLED where compliance shapes buyer evaluation of security
