Bakkt (NYSE: BKKT) is a regulated fintech company building a financial operating system for the AI and token economy. The company operates regulated infrastructure for trading, stablecoin settlement and cross-border payments; intelligence and distribution capabilities for financial products; and strategic access to differentiated assets and global markets. Bakkt is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to own the CEO's operating rhythm across calendar, communications, travel, preparation and follow-through. This in-office role may be based in New York, Atlanta or Dubai. The CEO works across global time zones, and the successful candidate will exercise sound judgment, anticipate needs and act independently while coordinating closely with the Chief of Staff, Corporate Affairs and the CEO's personal team. Reasonable availability outside traditional office hours is required when business priorities demand it. The role may occasionally support other executives. Key responsibilities include: - Triage communications across email and other channels; identify what needs the CEO's attention, draft responses when appropriate, and prevent consequential matters from falling through the cracks. - Own a complex, constantly changing calendar and international travel schedule; allocate time to highest-priority business matters, resolve conflicts quickly and coordinate seamlessly with the personal team and external partners. - Prepare concise meeting briefs, relevant materials and clear next steps; track decisions, commitments and action items through completion; handle expenses and documentation accurately and in line with company policy. - Operate ahead of the CEO by anticipating information needs, scheduling conflicts, travel requirements and stakeholder follow-ups before they become urgent. - Exercise discretion and independent judgment about what to resolve, delegate or escalate; maintain practical responsiveness across time zones, including for urgent matters outside normal working hours. - Partner with the Chief of Staff and VP of Corporate Affairs on board, investor, leadership and other stakeholder engagements, coordinating materials, logistics and timely follow-through. - Coordinate select global events and hospitality with relevant internal teams, ensuring the CEO's commitments and guests are handled with care and precision. - Support visits to global offices and liaise with office teams and vendors as needed, while keeping focus on the CEO's highest-value priorities. Requirements: - 7+ years of experience supporting a CEO, founder, senior investment professional or similarly demanding principal in a fast-paced, global environment. - Exceptional judgment, discretion and trustworthiness; ability to protect the CEO's time, handle sensitive information and determine what warrants escalation without waiting for detailed instructions. - Highly organized and composed under pressure, with demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars, global time zones, multiple communication channels and competing priorities. - Takes ownership from request to resolution: anticipates what is needed, follows up persistently and closes loops with internal and external stakeholders. - Technology-literate and enthusiastic about AI and automation; uses practical tools to improve scheduling, information management, meeting preparation and follow-through while checking outputs and protecting confidential information. - Concise, polished communicator who can write on the CEO's behalf, represent the office professionally and adapt to senior executives, board members, investors and external partners. - Effective collaborator with the Chief of Staff, Corporate Affairs and personal team who shares information promptly and works across functions to keep work moving. - Flexible and resilient in a high-intensity global role, with ability to respond to urgent changes calmly and exercise good judgment about availability across time zones. - Service mindset, close attention to detail and confidence to improve processes without losing sight of work that must get done today.
