The company operates a cloud-first infrastructure estate spanning Azure, Microsoft 365, and 40+ SaaS products with teams distributed across 39 countries. As Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain Boku's core cloud infrastructure as part of a small, senior infrastructure team. You'll operate autonomously on complex infrastructure problems, working collaboratively with other infrastructure engineers, the Head of Global IT, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and well-governed platforms. Key responsibilities include: **Infrastructure Design & Maintenance**: Design and build core cloud infrastructure across Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code principles. Manage the full lifecycle of critical infrastructure components from architecture through day-to-day operations. Administer identity and access at scale using Entra ID (RBAC, Conditional Access, app integrations). Design and maintain enterprise networking and firewall infrastructure including routing, WAN connectivity, and global site connectivity. Support Privileged Access Management using Delinea, including vault administration and session management. **Automation & AI Operations**: Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform for Azure resource provisioning. Manage Power Platform environments including strategy, governance, and access. Write automation scripts in Python and PowerShell. Identify opportunities to embed AI and intelligent automation into infrastructure operations, working with Solution Engineering to design systems integrations with AI-driven platforms. **Endpoint & Device Management**: Manage Microsoft Intune and Kandji for enrollment, configuration, patching, and compliance across global fleets. **Cloud & SaaS Governance**: Support and govern Boku's wider SaaS estate, ensuring alignment with cloud-first strategy. Partner with Security to harden the Microsoft 365 tenant and infrastructure against ISO 27001, SOC 2, and DORA compliance frameworks. **Technical Leadership**: Serve as senior technical point of contact for infrastructure design decisions, escalations, and complex troubleshooting. Ensure all infrastructure changes are documented, tested, and follow IT change control processes. Maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture records. **Requirements** - 7+ years in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles, ideally within cloud-first, SaaS-centric organizations - Demonstrable experience designing, building, and maintaining production infrastructure end-to-end - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (core infrastructure, networking, identity services) - Solid working knowledge of Entra ID: RBAC, Conditional Access, app registrations, identity governance - Practical experience writing and maintaining Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code - Experience building automation/workflow solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (environment management, CI/CD pipeline creation) - Strong scripting ability in Python and PowerShell - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Kandji - Practical experience with enterprise networking and firewall administration (routing, WAN, firewall configuration) - Experience with Privileged Access Management solutions, ideally Delinea - Understanding of how infrastructure and operational systems interact with AI-driven tooling and platforms **Desirable** - Knowledge of AI platforms and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and their application to infrastructure workflows - Familiarity with Cloudflare (Zero Trust, network/security services) - Experience in global or enterprise IT environments operating across multiple regions - Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, DORA) - Experience administering Zoom telephony and contact centre solutions - Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences - Customer-focused, proactive problem-solver thriving in ambiguous, fast-paced environments - Passion for continuous learning and driving operational excellence through automation
