Camunda is the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration, enabling organizations to coordinate AI agents, people, and systems across complex business processes. The company is trusted by over 700 organizations worldwide, including 9 of the top 10 US banks, and is named on GP Bullhound's Top 100 Next Unicorn list and recognized as a Visionary in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies. In this role, you own how Camunda builds products by designing and managing the Product Development Process (PDP) end-to-end for both Core and Experience tracks. You will define process stages, board hygiene, epic definition, and tracking mechanisms. You align the PDP with Product Strategy to ensure strategy, initiatives, and epics connect seamlessly, building trust across both divisions. You are responsible for fixing and running PDP automation built on Camunda 8, including source control, tests, test environments, monitoring, and maintaining a shared foundation for both tracks. Additionally, you build agentic processes on Camunda for the Products department's own work, using the product the way customers do and feeding learnings back to product teams. This is a hands-on role where you design processes and build and run the automation yourself. You work across Engineering and Product Strategy in a fully remote, globally distributed environment. The role offers the opportunity to shape how a fast-growing, AI-first organization builds products using its own platform. REQUIREMENTS: - Ability and/or willingness to use Camunda's product - Product, design, and technical skills in one person; ability to judge whether a workflow is good for users and build it yourself (product-only background is not sufficient) - Hands-on engineering: write code and scripts, work with GitHub, CI/CD and APIs, debug integrations - Process ownership: have designed and changed a product or engineering process in a software company with 100+ engineers - Practical AI agent experience: have built agents or agentic workflows that do real work, not only tried them - Cross-team influence: ability to get Product, Engineering, and leadership to agree on one way of working NICE-TO-HAVES: - Experience with BPMN, Camunda, or other workflow engines - Background in product operations, developer experience, or platform engineering
