The Platform team empowers other engineering teams by providing infrastructure, tools, and best practices that enable autonomy, productivity, and reliability. As Senior Engineering Manager, you'll lead and grow a team of platform engineers focused on Infrastructure, SRE, and DevOps.
You'll own people leadership, technical direction, and delivery across platform initiatives that impact every engineering team. Key responsibilities include leading and coaching a team of platform engineers; setting technical direction for platform architecture and roadmap execution; balancing short-term delivery with long-term infrastructure investments; overseeing cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling in a regulated environment; designing AI-powered internal tools and agentic workflows to automate tasks and boost engineering productivity; improving developer productivity by reducing friction in onboarding, CI/CD, and local-to-prod workflows; ensuring systems are secure, scalable, observable, and resilient; owning incident management practices and on-call sustainability; collaborating with product engineering, security, and compliance; and advocating for platform work by connecting technical initiatives to business impact.
You'll stay hands-on where it matters, shaping technical decisions and supporting delivery. You don't need to be the deepest expert in every area, but must be technically strong enough to set direction, challenge assumptions, and make tradeoffs across developer experience, infrastructure, and reliability.
Required: 10+ years in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles; 3+ years managing and growing high-performing teams; familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, PostgreSQL, CI/CD tooling, and GitOps; experience operating production systems and supporting on-call rotations; ability to set technical direction across developer experience and infrastructure; strong collaboration and communication skills focused on business impact; comfort using AI tools in day-to-day workflow.
Bonus: fintech or regulated environment experience; prior Staff or Senior Engineer background; interest in Bitcoin.
