Unify is building an AI-native outbound platform that enables revenue teams to identify buyers in-market, enrich accounts with data from 40+ sources, and execute personalized multi-channel outreach from a single workspace. The platform delivers up to 90% time savings on list building and 19% higher output per rep. As an early Engineering Manager at Unify, you'll lead one of the core product pods in a high-velocity, early-stage engineering organization. This is a rare opportunity to shape the DNA of the engineering culture, systems, and standards as the company scales. Key responsibilities include: - Managing and coaching a high-performing engineering team while staying hands-on with technical work - Owning product delivery in collaboration with product and design, shipping customer-centered initiatives quickly and reliably - Improving engineering processes across planning, observability, CI/CD, and incident response to support rapid iteration - Participating actively in code reviews, design conversations, and production incident response - Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top engineering talent as the org grows 3x+ over the next 12 months - Fostering a team culture grounded in ownership, speed, and empathy You bring 8+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years managing teams in fast-moving environments. You've built and led teams at early-stage startups, shipping high-quality software under tight feedback loops. You're a strong technical leader who sets high bars and inspires others to reach them. You thrive in high-autonomy, high-accountability environments and are energized by building from scratch. You're comfortable wearing multiple hats—recruiting, coding, running retros, debugging production, adjusting roadmaps. You care deeply about people and invest in their growth. You move fast, stay scrappy, and always prioritize impact. The tech stack includes TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Pulsar, ClickHouse, Temporal, and LLMs. Familiarity is helpful but less important than the ability to learn fast and raise the bar.
