As Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead the backend engineering team, overseeing engineering managers and individual contributor technical leads. You will be responsible for design and maintenance of backend services powering DEUNA's integrations with hundreds of merchants and payment providers globally. Your key responsibilities include driving efficiency across the team for accurate costing and delivery of initiatives, enabling a low tech-debt and highly innovative engineering organization, and coaching and mentoring technical leads and engineering managers.
You bring 10+ years of experience building backend systems at scale, ideally in fintech and payments. You are a proven mentor who has successfully built teams and developed individuals while delivering high-availability, reliable systems efficiently. You possess strong communication and organizational skills that enable you to navigate complex day-to-day situations. You are passionate about self-development and drive yourself and those around you to continuous improvement.
