Salary: USD 300,000 - 415,000 / annual
Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Engineering Director to lead multiple teams within the Security Products Engineering group. This is a people-management role reporting to the VP of Engineering for Security Products, responsible for strategy, technical leadership, team development, and execution of security product initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple engineering teams delivering customer-facing security products
- Partner with Product Management to define strategy and achieve ambitious goals
- Lead and mentor engineering managers and individual engineers across the organization
- Work with peers globally to drive cross-organizational projects and develop best practices
- Foster a results-oriented culture that balances ambition with curiosity, kindness, and empathy
- Define metrics that guide engineering team performance
- Drive continuous improvement within your teams
- Manage complex projects with external dependencies
