Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Engineer for Technical Support focused on Public Cloud solutions. This role is part of Veeam's Technical Customer Support department, which serves as the critical support function for B2B customers worldwide.
You will provide technical support and in-depth troubleshooting for Veeam Software's clients via telephone, email, and web conferencing. Your responsibilities include researching and resolving customer problems, acting as a technical focal point for IT professionals, and maintaining accurate documentation of all customer interactions within SLA requirements using Veeam's CRM tool. You'll contribute to building Veeam's knowledge base and stay proactively updated on the latest technologies related to Veeam's products and underlying cloud platforms.
Required expertise includes:
- Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Microsoft Azure (VMs, blob storage, roles, regions, security groups)
- Amazon AWS (S3, EC2, roles, regions, security groups)
- Google Cloud Platform (VMs, blob storage, VPC network, regions)
- Microsoft SQL (SQL Studio, basic queries)
- Microsoft Windows Server administration
- Linux administration
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, diagnostic tools)
- Backup concepts and software solutions
- Previous troubleshooting and system administration experience
You should demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and explain complex technical information, take ownership of client issues through resolution, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
