Bitwarden, a trusted identity security leader serving millions of users globally, is establishing an India Engineering Center of Excellence and seeking an experienced Senior Engineer in Quality. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Bitwarden's product across mobile, web, and server components while collaborating with a talented team and the open-source community.
You will lead the design and implementation of robust test automation frameworks using C# and Selenium/Appium, ensuring scalability and maintainability across diverse application types. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated test scripts, conducting code reviews of test automation work, executing automated tests to identify defects and performance issues, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. You'll collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and achieve comprehensive test coverage.
Beyond hands-on automation work, you will facilitate a total quality approach to software development, establish guidelines and processes for testing community and internal contributions, and mentor junior team members on best practices and frameworks. You'll participate actively in Agile ceremonies, troubleshoot automation issues across environments, and continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
Required qualifications include strong C# proficiency, experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with remote testing tools (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack), and solid understanding of software testing principles. Experience with AI/ML is a nice-to-have. You should bring a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and genuine enthusiasm for open-source software and internet security.
