Postman is the world's leading API platform used by 45+ million developers and 500,000 organizations, including 98% of the Fortune 500. The Monetization Team powers Postman's pricing, packaging, and business scaling by building and operating mission-critical billing systems that handle payments, renewals, subscription lifecycle, sales/tax/compliance, revenue systems, and post-purchase product onboarding.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Monetization Team, you will lead the development of user-facing platforms that drive technical excellence in UI architecture and product innovation in the monetization experience. You'll design, develop, and own interfaces for key monetization flows including checkout, subscription management, and pricing pages. You'll establish best practices for frontend architecture ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability across all user-facing features.
Key responsibilities include implementing config-driven UIs with reusable components that dynamically render pricing and packaging settings from backend services; enhancing admin and sales workflows by building internal-facing applications for sales, finance, and support teams to manage contracts, discounts, and subscriptions; and collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, Support, Security, and Platform teams. You'll also raise the engineering bar through code reviews, defining frontend best practices, mentoring engineers, and influencing decisions on UI technology stack and tooling.
You bring 6+ years of experience designing and building complex, high-traffic web applications with strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and leading frameworks (React, Node.js, Angular). You have deep expertise in frontend performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards (WCAG), and efficient API integration (REST/GraphQL). You're hands-on with testing frameworks, bundling tools, and CI/CD pipelines, with a proven track record of translating design mockups into high-fidelity responsive UIs and leading technical design of major frontend features. Bonus experience includes A/B testing frameworks and deep understanding of UX principles in high-stakes transaction flows like checkout and billing portals.
