Logixboard builds software for the freight forwarding industry, offering a white-labeled supply chain visibility product and AI-powered tools that automate data entry and document handling. The company serves both freight forwarders and their customers with a platform that spans real-time shipment tracking and operator-facing workflows.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work as a full-stack individual contributor across the entire platform. You'll build features end-to-end: React frontends (Vite, MUI, tRPC), Node.js backend services (Express, PostGraphile/GraphQL, tRPC), PostgreSQL schema design, and AWS infrastructure. Key responsibilities include shipping features across both customer-facing visibility dashboards and operator-facing AI workflows, designing and owning database schema changes, and building durable integration workflows using Temporal.io that connect with TMS platforms (CargoWise, Descartes, McLeod, etc.).
You'll work with event-driven patterns across SQS, Kinesis, EventBridge, and Lambda to process shipment data at scale. You'll contribute to multi-region AWS infrastructure (us-west-2, us-east-2, eu-west-3) using Terraform and Spacelift, improve observability with Datadog and Sentry, and participate in incident response and on-call rotations. The role includes mentoring other engineers across US and India teams, participating in code reviews and architectural discussions, and communicating clearly in a distributed, async-first environment.
Required: 6+ years professional software engineering experience with production SaaS applications, strong TypeScript and Node.js proficiency, deep React and modern frontend tooling experience, solid PostgreSQL knowledge (schema design, optimization, indexing), AWS experience (Lambda, SQS, S3, RDS, etc.), monorepo comfort (Nx, Yarn workspaces), strong testing discipline (Jest/Vitest, integration, E2E with Cypress), and clear communication skills with high ownership mentality.
Preferred: Temporal.io or workflow orchestration experience, GraphQL/PostGraphile familiarity, tRPC experience, Terraform infrastructure-as-code, logistics/supply chain background, AI/ML integration experience, and feature flag tools like LaunchDarkly.
