You'll join the API Network team, which builds a comprehensive solution for discovering, learning about, and using APIs across public, internal, and partner workspaces. Postman's Public API Network is the world's largest network of public APIs, while the Private Network serves as organizations' single source of truth for corporate APIs and internal resources.
As a Senior Engineer (Full Stack), you'll shape the future of API products through collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional engineers. Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to cutting-edge API and product development with a dynamic, cross-functional team
- Rapidly prototyping functional solutions for internal and external use-cases
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to fellow engineers
- Contributing to roadmap planning and strategic alignment
- Leading the architecture and design of collection systems
- Owning the maturation of existing systems to enhance functionality, reliability, and performance
- Championing initiatives for architectural improvement and innovation
You bring 6+ years of experience building applications in high-level programming languages, with strong expertise in JavaScript. You have solid knowledge of cloud computing, distributed systems, database fundamentals, and data storage principles. Your skill set spans front-end technologies, networking, and analytics fundamentals, with strong backend engineering proficiency. You write testable, maintainable code and excel at communicating technical concepts across product, design, and engineering teams. You're driven by curiosity and a passion for end-to-end solutions.
