The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems across hardware and software, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to provide warfighters and allies with critical advantages.
As a Senior Embedded Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of imaging software and firmware products. Your responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software and firmware products. You will perform thorough functional, regression, and user acceptance testing with hardware-in-the-loop configurations, which is critical for embedded systems validation.
You will identify, document, and track software and firmware defects using industry-standard bug tracking systems, collaborating closely with development teams to debug issues and verify fixes. You will contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and best practices within the team.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance. You must have hands-on testing experience in both Linux and Windows environments, familiarity with Git and common platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket, and experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla. Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment are essential.
