Sensi.AI is building a virtual assessment tool that monitors seniors' health in their homes 24/7, delivering emergency alerts, actionable insights, and predictive analysis to enable proactive care. As a Senior Embedded Engineer, you will design and develop embedded systems used by tens of thousands of users, with a focus on performance, reliability, and real-world conditions.
This is a highly hands-on role spanning software and hardware. You will own solutions end-to-end, from architecture through deployment. Key responsibilities include:
• Embedded Development: Design and build embedded software for resource-constrained environments, including RTOS-based architectures and IoT modules, working alongside cloud services that manage and automate the IoT fleet.
• Field Deployment: Work directly with devices in customer environments, ensuring performance across real-life conditions and varying hardware setups.
• Testing & Experimentation: Write tests, lead end-to-end validation from device to IoT core, and run experiments to continuously improve reliability and performance.
• Debugging & Integration: Troubleshoot across hardware, firmware, and networking layers, using datasheets and technical specifications to implement and optimize functionality.
• Collaboration & Ownership: Own solutions end-to-end while partnering with Israel-based R&D teams, customers, and vendors. Document key decisions, experiments, and system behavior.
You will play a key role in bridging development and real-world usage, ensuring systems perform at scale and in the field. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct, meaningful impact on a product that improves care for older adults.
