Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer to own hardware design from initial requirements through full production. You will design and develop mechanical systems that integrate complex thermal solutions, RF hardware, PCBAs, and cabling for advanced defense technology platforms. The role involves rapid prototyping to identify and resolve issues quickly, working on compressed timelines to deliver cutting-edge military systems. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the complete hardware design lifecycle from requirements definition through production handoff - Developing mechanical designs with tight integration of thermal management, RF components, and electronics - Rapid prototyping and iterative development to accelerate time-to-market - Supporting customer-facing hardware demonstrations and translating customer feedback into design requirements - Traveling to test sites as needed to support validation and deployment Required qualifications: - 5+ years of professional mechanical design experience - BSME, MS, or PhD in mechanical engineering or related field - Proficiency in CAD (any platform) with ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings to industry standards - Hands-on fabrication skills and ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues - Strong command of engineering first principles - Experience integrating PCBAs and electronics into mechanical systems - Active U.S. Secret security clearance (required and must be maintainable) - Experience in immersive technical projects (collegiate or professional) Preferred qualifications include expertise in Solidworks/NX/Teamcenter, passive and active thermal management design, EMI constraint design, manufacturing methods (CNC, sheet metal, injection molding, 3D printing), and cross-functional collaboration with electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
