Salary: USD 145,000 - 165,000 / annual

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to shape the future of lunar technologies and missions. Based in Pittsburgh, PA with hybrid flexibility, you'll work within the Advanced Programs division—the company's earliest-stage innovation hub—developing breakthrough technologies for next-generation lunar landers, surface systems, and spacecraft. You will define end-to-end mission concepts for NASA, government, and commercial customers, directly influencing the technical architectures and technologies that drive Voyager's lunar pursuits. Your responsibilities include developing and reviewing concepts for lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft; performing power and avionics design and analysis to right-size power architectures for mission objectives; conducting trade studies to support technical and programmatic decisions; and translating abstract customer requirements into actionable product goals and system architectures. You'll contribute to proposal development and technical content creation, participate in customer and partner technical interchanges, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to resolve technical risks. You'll also support programmatic planning including schedules, resourcing, and budget estimation, and participate in cross-functional team meetings to ensure solutions align with mission needs and company technology roadmaps. Required: B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline plus 10 years of relevant engineering experience (advanced degree may substitute for some experience). Demonstrated expertise in space system development, systems engineering, structures/thermal design, avionics, power systems, propulsion, orbital mechanics, electrical systems, mechanical/fluid systems, software/controls, modeling/simulation, or manufacturing. Experience developing technical content for proposals and customer presentations, authoring and decomposing mission/system-level requirements, and strong understanding of launch, space, and lunar environments. Desired: Full end-to-end mission solution experience, mission architecture development background, software scripting for automation and analysis, knowledge of NASA/industry engineering standards, agile environment experience (Confluence, Jira), and eligibility for U.S. security clearance.
