The Hardware Test Engineering team is responsible for designing and validating cutting-edge test solutions that ensure the reliability and mission-readiness of the X-BAT UAV and other hardware platforms.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer on the Hardware Test team, you will own the end-to-end design and development of test systems that validate hardware performance under real-world and extreme operating conditions. Your responsibilities include designing custom PCBs, developing automated test sequences, and building electrical and mechanical test stands that push aerospace hardware to its limits.
You will leverage expertise in power electronics, RF systems, communications, and test automation to create innovative solutions that ensure the highest reliability standards in aerospace hardware. This role offers significant technical ownership and impact, directly supporting the development of next-generation autonomous defense systems.
The position is based in Dallas, Texas, with Shield AI's broader operations spanning offices and facilities across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions.
