Shield AI is a venture-backed defense-tech company developing autonomous systems and unmanned aircraft to protect service members and civilians. The Hardware Test Engineering team is responsible for designing and validating test solutions that ensure the V-BAT and other aircraft platforms meet the highest reliability and mission-readiness standards.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer on the Hardware Test team, you will own the end-to-end design and development of custom test systems and equipment. Your responsibilities include:
• Design and development of custom PCBs and electrical test infrastructure
• Creation of automated test sequences and test protocols for aerospace hardware
• Development of electrical and mechanical test stands capable of simulating real-world and extreme operating environments
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and validate hardware performance
• Expertise application in power electronics, RF, communications systems, and test automation
