You will join a small, mission-driven engineering team as a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on new product development. This is a high-ownership role where you'll have significant influence over technical decisions and product direction. The work spans the full spectrum of hardware development: from Arduino prototyping in early stages to designing production-ready PCBAs for manufacturing at scale in Asia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design consumer electronic devices incorporating microcontrollers, SoCs, wireless transceivers, motor drivers, sensors, audio, and LED drivers
- Lead electrical system development including schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up and characterization, production test infrastructure, and reliability testing
- Collaborate extensively with mechanical engineering, embedded software, industrial design, product, manufacturing, and overseas supplier teams
- Generate novel ideas and prototype new product concepts and architectures to define the company's technical roadmap

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience designing mixed analog and digital systems for consumer electronics or similar applications
- Highly proficient with ECAD packages, especially Altium
- Expertise with SMT and flex PCB manufacturing processes
- Understanding of DOE, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and other quality measuring techniques
- BSEE or equivalent (MS preferred)
