Re:Build Fikst, part of Re:Build Manufacturing, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their product development and engineering consulting firm in Wilmington, MA. Re:Build Manufacturing operates an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform partnering with industrial companies and innovators across aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy, and robotics verticals.
In this role, you will develop innovative electrical and electronic solutions for products spanning medical devices, robotics, industrial automation, and life sciences. You'll work throughout the entire product development lifecycle—from early concept and architecture through prototyping, testing, verification, manufacturing, and production. Your responsibilities will include designing analog and digital circuitry, power systems, embedded electronics, sensor interfaces, instrumentation, PCB assemblies, and electromechanical control systems.
You'll operate in a hands-on engineering environment where you build, troubleshoot, and refine prototypes using industry-standard laboratory equipment (CNCs, 3D printers, waterjet and laser cutters). You'll collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and industrial design engineers. Direct client engagement is a key part of the role—understanding their challenges, participating in technical reviews and demonstrations, and partnering with suppliers and manufacturers.
The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with broad electrical engineering expertise across multiple disciplines. You should be a curious learner comfortable tackling unfamiliar technologies, developing expertise quickly, and applying that knowledge to complex challenges. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining technical concepts to clients and multidisciplinary teams. You're adaptable, energized by variety, and passionate about developing innovative products that have never existed before.
