CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Digital/Mixed-Signal Electronics team. The company develops advanced communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. The Skylark product line focuses on rapid design, build, and test of cutting-edge active phased array antennas (AESA) for terrestrial and airborne applications, spanning high-power ground terminals for missile defense to commercial airline and helicopter connectivity solutions.
In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of board-level electronics hardware design and implementation for advanced RF communication systems. You will be responsible for digital-focused design work with a broad foundation in electrical design and test. Key responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, performing thorough design reviews, and driving technical decision-making in fast-moving environments. You will effectively communicate technical concepts to peers and leadership while working in a dynamic, cross-functional startup environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with RF communication systems, board-level electronics design, and digital/mixed-signal electronics. You should be comfortable with the full design lifecycle from concept through implementation and testing. This is an individual contributor role with mentorship responsibilities, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace and defense technology.
