In this role, you will design high-speed mixed-signal architectures and circuits, manage signal integrity in complex PCBs, and mature prototypes into production-ready products. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary technical team including firmware, software, mechanical, and test engineers to deliver fully functional systems. Key responsibilities include: designing combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power architectures; developing embedded electronics from concept through functional prototype, including hardware selection, schematic and PCB design, board bring-up, and system integration; troubleshooting issues spanning electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and debugging tools; working with modern SoCs and networking hardware; collaborating with firmware/software engineers on processor selection and board bring-up; and managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; 8+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex hardware and embedded systems; demonstrated experience with multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR memory buses, Ethernet MAC/PHY interfaces, FPGAs, and communication buses (SPI, I2C); microprocessor/microcontroller selection and interfacing; component selection, schematic capture, and high-speed board design; proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers); familiarity with product development processes; knowledge of embedded software development; signal and power integrity expertise; proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent; Python programming for test automation; and eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
