Aeva is developing next-generation 4D LiDAR sensing and perception technology that integrates key LiDAR components onto silicon photonics chips. As a Senior DSP Test Engineer, you will own the design and implementation of automated regression testing frameworks for DSP (Digital Signal Processing) features across both production systems and simulation platforms. This is a critical role that bridges hardware validation and software quality assurance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and building automated test suites for DSP algorithms and signal processing pipelines
- Developing test infrastructure for both hardware production environments and software simulation platforms
- Creating regression test frameworks that ensure DSP feature reliability across product iterations
- Collaborating with DSP algorithm engineers, hardware teams, and production teams to identify test coverage gaps
- Implementing continuous integration and automated testing workflows
- Debugging and troubleshooting DSP-related issues in production and test environments
- Documenting test methodologies and maintaining test infrastructure
