Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Domain Engineering Specialist to drive customer success across security-related products within the Veeam Data Platform (VDP). This role bridges technical architecture and customer outcomes, requiring deep expertise in data security, governance, and AI/ML architectures. You will engage Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts ($100K+ ARR) as a pooled resource, partnering with Customer Success Engineers and Account Executives. Key responsibilities include running readiness checks and data modeling to validate solution designs, monitoring attack surfaces and vulnerabilities using the Veeam Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM), and tracking telemetry to identify health risks and expansion opportunities. You'll lead risk and status discussions with CISO/CIO stakeholders, synthesizing inputs from account health reviews and quarterly business reviews. Your technical acumen will support security- and AI-driven expansion motions while influencing roadmap priorities. You operate as a technical authority on solution design, POCs, and maturity modeling—not as a primary owner of onboarding or renewals, but as a strategic advisor optimizing customer posture and identifying upsell opportunities. Required qualifications: 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering architecture (Security Engineer/Architect, Cloud Solution Architect, or MLOps/ML Engineer roles). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent. Hands-on expertise in data security posture management (DSPM), data loss prevention (DLP), and familiarity with AI/ML architectures. Demonstrated ability to engage C-level security stakeholders on risk, resilience, and modernization. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. VMCE certification can be completed after joining. Veeam offers comprehensive benefits including 21 annual vacation days plus 4 VeeaMe Days for self-care, private health/dental/vision insurance, life insurance at 2× salary, critical illness and disability coverage, monthly meal benefits (40 RON/day + 600 RON/month cafeteria), and access to professional development platforms (LinkedIn Learning, O'Reilly).
