Veeam is seeking a Senior Domain Engineering Specialist to drive customer success and outcomes across security-related products within the Veeam Data Platform (VDP). This is a technical customer-facing role that bridges engineering expertise with customer advocacy, working closely with Customer Success Engineers and Account Executives to maximize adoption and expansion of data resilience and security solutions. In this role, you will engage enterprise and commercial customers (typically $100K+ ARR) on security architectures, risk topics, and data governance. You'll lead readiness checks and data modeling exercises to validate solution designs, accelerate customer decision-making, and de-risk adoption. You'll monitor attack surfaces, vulnerabilities, and telemetry against Veeam's Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM), identifying health trends and expansion opportunities. You'll synthesize insights from account health data and QBRs to engage CISO/CIO stakeholders on risk, resilience, and modernization roadmaps. You'll operate as a pooled resource covering multiple accounts at a typical 1:6–8 ratio with CSEs, supporting security- and AI-driven expansion motions while influencing product roadmap priorities. This is not a primary onboarding or renewals role, but rather a specialized technical advisor focused on deepening customer maturity and identifying upsell opportunities. You bring 5+ years of engineering architecture experience in cybersecurity, with expertise in data security, governance, DSPM/DLP, and familiarity with AI/ML architectures. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required; relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP) and hands-on experience with solution design, POCs, and maturity modeling are expected. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential. VMCE certification can be completed after joining.
