In this role, you will own end-to-end revenue cycle operations including billing, collections, accounts receivable, denial management, delegated credentialing, and payer enrollment. - Overseeing transition to delegated credentialing and multi-state payer enrollment with senior-level payer relationship management
- Partnering with Finance and executive leadership on payer contracting, reimbursement strategy, and revenue forecasting
- Optimizing EHR/PM technology (e.g., Athena), automation, and outsourced RCM vendor SLAs
- Building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing RCM organization with clear ownership and operating rhythms
You will connect billing performance metrics (DAR, A/R aging, clean claim rates) to broader business growth while staying current with healthcare technology and industry trends. This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong executive presence, cross-functional alignment skills, and the ability to drive change in fast-growing healthcare environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle management experience with significant leadership scope

- Demonstrated success improving cash collections, lowering denial rates, and reducing A/R aging
- Deep functional expertise with major PM/EHR platforms such as AthenaHealth, Epic, or eClinicalWorks
- Experience supporting multi-site, multi-state healthcare organizations undergoing rapid scaling or operational change
- Proven ability to manage, evaluate, and optimize external RCM vendor and technology partner relationships
- Deep understanding of healthcare compliance, HIPAA, and multi-site revenue integrity
- Analytical problem-solving skills for diagnosing root causes in claims, denials, and payer workflow bottlenecks
NICE TO HAVE:
- Behavioral health, mental health, or pediatric healthcare experience
- Background in management consulting, interim leadership, or organizational turnarounds
