CyberCube is a market-leading cyber risk analytics platform for the insurance industry, trusted by 75% of the top 40 European and US cyber insurance carriers and 70% of the top ten reinsurance brokers. The company combines AI-driven analytics with deep cybersecurity and insurance expertise to quantify cyber risk and translate it into financial impact for businesses and markets.
You will lead CyberCube's largest revenue segment: the (re)insurance sales and account management team across UK/Europe and North America. This is a first-line sales leadership role with an established team, territory, and pipeline already in place—not a build-from-scratch opportunity. You own the segment revenue number and are personally credible in front of C-suite insurance buyers (CROs, Chief Underwriting Officers, Chief Actuaries).
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the (re)insurance sales and account management team, delivering quarterly forecasts with high accuracy
- Hire, coach, and performance-manage the team; retain and develop top performers
- Manage the team against pipeline coverage, conversion rates, activity metrics, and cycle time with weekly inspection and CRM discipline
- Lead renewal and expansion motions; shorten time from qualified opportunity to signature
- Design named account coverage and territory structure across UK/Europe and North America
- Coach deals actively—be in the room on meetings that matter, not managing from the sidelines
- Build executive credibility with senior insurance buyers; earn second meetings on their agenda
- Set team tempo through visible market presence and regular travel
You will work with complex, long-cycle enterprise deals (6–12 months), multiple stakeholders, procurement and legal complexity, and six- to seven-figure ACVs. The role requires metrics discipline, commercial creativity on pricing and structure, and a demanding, high-accountability leadership style.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven first-line sales leadership: managed quota-carrying sellers and/or account managers; hit team targets over multiple cycles
- Sold complex software, data, or analytics into large enterprise buyers; led a team doing the same
- Enterprise deal experience: multi-stakeholder, procurement-heavy, long cycles, subscription or license commercial models
- Metrics-oriented: know pipeline coverage, conversion, and cycle times; coach team against these measures
- Executive credible: can engage CROs and Chief Underwriting Officers on first meeting; articulate on commercial arguments; trusted to represent CyberCube without supervision
- Operates with urgency; treats slow decisions as a cost; lifts team energy
- Demanding leader with high accountability; direct feedback; quick to address underperformance
- Commercially creative on structure and pricing; disciplined on process and reporting
- Low ego, high candor; comfortable disagreeing with executive team
- Based in London or New York with regular international client travel
STRONG PLUS:
- Sales experience into insurance or reinsurance industry (carriers, reinsurers, brokers, MGAs, Lloyd's market)
- Experience across new business and renewals/expansion, including usage-based or consumption pricing
- Exposure to reinsurance and broker channels as well as primary carriers
- Track record scaling a team through step-change growth
- Background in cyber, catastrophe modeling, exposure management, or InsurTech
- Comfort in fast-moving, AI-enabled commercial function (agentic prospecting, automated reporting, no traditional SDR layer)
NOT REQUIRED:
- Deep technical cyber security or catastrophe modeling knowledge
- Underwriting or actuarial background
- Direct competitor experience
