Boulder Care, a Series C digital clinic for addiction medicine, is seeking a Senior Director of Payer Strategy and Operations to lead the company's partnerships with health plans and payers. This is a strategic, high-impact role at the center of Boulder's growth engine, connecting clinical outcomes, product capabilities, and payer priorities to scale partnerships. You will own three core areas: **Value-Based Care Strategy**: Evolve and operationalize Boulder's approach to value-based contracting, including Total Cost of Care frameworks and risk structures. Partner with Finance to evaluate contract opportunities and ensure economic alignment. Translate performance data and clinical outcomes into clear market opportunities. Help define pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy for payer partnerships. **Storytelling & Sales Enablement**: Turn complex clinical data and outcomes into compelling narratives for payer executives. Own core commercial materials including pitch decks, QBRs, and RFP responses. Partner with Product, Clinical, and Operations teams to translate Boulder's capabilities into payer-facing messaging. Develop demo scripts tailored to health plan audiences. Act as a strategic partner on large, complex opportunities—structuring deals, shaping solutions, and guiding pricing. Enable the sales team with positioning, materials, and support needed to close sophisticated contracts. **Operational Rigor & Insights**: Own systems and processes supporting the commercial organization (Salesforce, pipeline tracking, deal desk). Establish visibility into pipeline, performance, and growth opportunities. Lead reporting and insights for the Commercial team, Senior Leadership Team, and Board to drive data-informed decision-making. You bring 8+ years of progressive leadership in management consulting or healthcare strategy with deep experience in Value-Based Care mechanics. You have familiarity with Medicaid managed care organizations, state-level healthcare dynamics, and businesses shaped by public policy and regulatory factors. You can synthesize complex clinical and financial datasets into cohesive, persuasive commercial narratives. You have general understanding of CRM (Salesforce) data structures and business intelligence tools. This is a full-time remote position (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday). Boulder Care employees have access to a river-front headquarters in Portland, OR. You must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
